Healthy Cereal Yoghurt Berry Smoothie

If you have read my previous post - Easy Eggless Chocolate Chips Waffle - you must have come across me mentioning that I am going down the road where I am trying to pamper myself for breakfast!

But that also means that I have to cajole myself with something quick and yet delicious because of my hectic mornings!

So, today's recipe is a very easy, quick, but healthy smoothie! The best part of it is that you can get the best of both worlds: lip-smacking and yet healthy!!

I want to mention that Fresh Berries are quite pricey in Mauritius! Sik Yuen has just increased its price (relative to Berries of course!!) which is beyond me really!! I haven't checked at Intermart yet which seems to offer Berries at Rs 50 less than the price at Sik Yuen.

Anyways for this recipe you can buy Frozen Berries from Monoprix or Jumbo, but Jumbo has a better offer! Rs 200 (approximated) for packet (600g) of Frozen Red Berries, that's a bargain girl! Okay..okay..guys!

I am summarising the benefits of the ingredients used in the photo below, make sure you go through it! Please note that there are more benefits than the listed ones, but it was impossible for me to squeeze them all in the photo!

Go Ahead and Treat Yourself this Yummy Smoothie!

    1. Hello Legallyme2, cereal yogurt is just plain yogurt with some cereals in it. We have it, pre-made, here in Mauritius from the Yoplait brand, so I am guessing you won't have access to that. But if I am not mistaken, Activia offers a Cereal fibres one, hopefully this one is accessible. If you can't find it, just pop some flaxseed (Linseed) meal into your smoothie but be careful with store-bought flaxseed meal. Flaxseed when ground lose their nutritious value quick enough.

      Hope I helped you ;)
